Post graduates

You are generally only able to receive financial support for your childcare through Government funding if you are studying on a teacher training course (such as a PGCE) or a social work course at post-graduate level.

You may be able to apply to a research council relevant to your area of work for some financial assistance during your studies. For details of research councils, see http://www.rcuk.ac.uk/.

You may also be able to apply for some financial support through the Access to Learning Fund that is administered through your university, or through a Professional and Career Development Loan.
